CHICAGO (Standard&Poor's) March 10, 2014--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said today that it raised its rating on the village of Holly, Mich.'s 2004 wastewater revenue bonds to 'A-' from 'BBB+'. At the same time, Standard&Poor's assigned its 'A-' long-term rating to Holly's series 2014 wastewater system revenue refunding bonds. The outlook is stable. "The higher rating is based on an improved financial profile over the last two audited years," said Standard&Poor's credit analyst Scott Garrigan. "The rating reflects our view of the wastewater system's debt service coverage (DSC), which we consider adequate," he added. Other factors include its: Stable and primarily residential customer base, with good incomes; and Lack of additional debt needs. In
