Abstract:

NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) Feb. 3, 2009--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services today withdrew its ratings on the class B-US and C notes issued by HSBC Bank PLC, a synthetic corporate investment-grade collateralized debt obligation (CDO) transaction. The ratings were previously on CreditWatch with negative implications (see list). The rating withdrawals follow HSBC's decision to exercise its option to cancel the notes.
