Paris -- Standard&Poor's CreditWire 6/9/98 -- Standard&Poor's today affirmed its 'A-1' short-term counterparty credit rating on Generale Bank (Generale). The rating was removed from CreditWatch with positive implications, where it was placed on May 27, 1998. Standard&Poor's also affirmed its 'A-1' short-term counterparty and commercial paper ratings on ASLK-CGER Bank (ASLK-CGER) and its related entities.
