General Electric Capital Corp. (GECC) merged into General Electric Co. (GE), effective Dec. 2, 2015. As a result, we are affirming and then withdrawing our 'AA+/A-1+' issuer credit ratings on GECC. The issuer credit ratings on GECC's successor organization--GE Capital Global Holdings LLC--are 'AA+/Negative/A-1+'. NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) Dec. 3, 2015--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services today said it affirmed and then withdrew its 'AA+/A-1+' issuer credit ratings on General Electric Capital Corp. (GECC). The outlook at the time of the withdrawal was negative. The affirmation and withdrawal of our issuer credit ratings on GECC reflect its merger into parent company GE (AA+/Negative/A-1+), which was effective on Dec. 2, 2015.
