PARIS (Standard&Poor's) June 30, 2010--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services today assigned its 'A-1+ short-term issue rating to French bank Credit Agricole S.A.'s (AA-/Negative/A-1+) €500 million senior unsecured floating-rate medium-term notes maturing April 27, 2011. To assign this rating, we withdrew our 'AA-' long-term rating on these notes. We initially assigned the long-term rating to these notes because we generally assign long-term ratings to medium-term notes. These notes carry a 365-day maturity, however, meaning we can under our criteria elect to assign a short- or long-term rating, in accordance with standard practices in a given market.
