Export-Import Bank Of China's Proposed Senior Bonds Assigned 'AA-' And 'cnAAA' Ratings

HONG KONG (S&P Global Ratings) March 6, 2017--S&P Global Ratings today assigned its 'AA-' long-term issue rating to the senior unsecured bonds that Export-Import Bank of China (China EXIM: AA-/Negative/A-1+, cnAAA/cnA-1+) proposes to issue. The bonds will be denominated in U.S. dollars and euros. We also assigned our 'cnAAA' long-term Greater China regional credit scale rating to the bonds. We have equalized the issue rating with the long-term counterparty credit rating on China EXIM. The bonds will be direct, unconditional, unsecured, and unsubordinated obligations of China EXIM. They will rank equally without any preference among themselves and at least equally with all other unsecured and unsubordinated public external indebtedness of China EXIM.
