OVERVIEW We raised our ratings on eight classes from Rhode Island Student Loan Authority's series 2009A, 2010A, 2010B, 2012A, 2013A, 2014A, 2015A, and 2016A. We also affirmed our ratings on 71 classes from Rhode Island Student Loan Authority's series 2009A, 2010A, 2010B, 2012A, 2013A, 2014A, 2015A, 2016A, and 2017A. The series are backed by a pool of private fixed-rate student loans made under either the Rhode Island Family Education Loan Program or a private consolidation loan program. The upgrades reflect the bonds' short-term maturities. The affirmations reflect our view of the 2009 trust indenture's credit support, parity, pool characteristics, and the timely interest and principal payments made under stressed cash flow modeling scenarios, among other factors.
