Abstract:

NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) Dec. 11, 2008--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services today lowered its corporate credit and issue-level ratings on Eastman Kodak Co. by one notch. The corporate credit rating was lowered to 'B' from 'B+'. These ratings remain on CreditWatch with negative implications, where they were initially placed Nov. 3, 2008, because of the company's significant downward revision in earnings guidance in October. The recovery ratings on the senior secured debt remain at '1', reflecting our expectation of very high recovery (90%-100%) in the event of a payment default, and the recovery ratings on the unsecured debt remain at '5', reflecting our expectation of modest recovery (10%-30%) in the event of a payment default.
