...CHARLOTTESVILLE (S&P Global Ratings) Nov. 29, 2017--S&P Global Ratings has assigned its '##' rating to the District of Columbia's (D.C.) series 2017D general obligation (GO) bonds. At the same time, S&P Global Ratings affirmed its '##' rating on D.C.'s previously issued GO bonds. The outlook is positive. We base the GO rating on the District's full-faith-and-credit pledge. "The District's very strong economy and strong management are key credit strengths, in our view," said S&P Global Ratings credit analyst Lisa Schroeer.
