LONDON (Standard&Poor's) Dec. 21, 2005--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said today that it revised its outlook on France-based bank Crédit Agricole S.A. (CASA) and related entities to positive from stable, reflecting the group's good prospects to restore its recurrent profitability to former standards following the integration of Credit Lyonnais. At the same time, Standard&Poor's affirmed its 'AA-' long-term and 'A-1+' short-term counterparty credit ratings on all entities. "The outlook revision reflects the improvement in the financial performance of the Crédit Agricole group as a whole following the difficult integration of Crédit Lyonnais, particularly in corporate and investment banking," said Standard&Poor's credit analyst Xavier Got.
