NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's CreditWire) Nov. 1, 2000--Standard&Poor's today lowered its long-term ratings on Cox Communications Inc (CCI), Cox Enterprises Inc. (CEI), and Cox Radio (CXR; see list below). At the same time, Standard&Poor's affirmed its short-term ratings on CCI and CEI (see list). The outlook is stable. The ratings on CEI and its majority-owned units CCI and CXR are based on a consolidated analytical view.
