NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) April 4, 2008--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services today lowered its corporate credit and senior unsecured ratings on St. Petersburg, Fla.-based Jabil Circuit Inc. to 'BB+' from 'BBB-', following the company's revised outlook for the balance of fiscal 2008. The outlook is stable. At the same time, we assigned a '4' recovery rating to the company's $250 million 8.25% notes due 2018 and its $300 million 5.875% notes due 2010, indicating that lenders can expect an average recovery (30% to 50%) in the event of payment default.
