NY -- Standard&Poor's CreditWire 7/16/96 -- Standard&Poor's today has removed its single-`B'-plus subordinated debt rating of Community Health Systems Inc. from CreditWatch, where they were placed on June 10, 1996. The double-`B' corporate credit rating has also been removed from CreditWatch. These ratings have been withdrawn. The rating actions follow the successful tender of Community Health Systems' $100 million 10.25% subordinated notes due Nov. 30, 2003. Nashville, Tenn.-based Community Health was recently acquired by Forstmann Little&Co, Standard&Poor's said. -- CreditWire
