Standard&Poor's Ratings Services raised the short-term component of its rating to 'A-1+' from 'A-2' on the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority's Class II 2007B-3 bonds (AA/A-1+) under its single-family mortgage bond indenture to reflect the substitution of a standby bond purchase agreement (SBPA) from the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC; 'A-1+' short-term rating) for a KBC ('A-2' short-term rating) liquidity facility on May 16, 2012. The outlook is stable. The 'AA' long-term component of the rating is based on our view of the substantial overcollateralization on the Class II bonds and the very strong quality of the Federal Housing Authority (FHA)-insured and other loan insurance and guarantees, along with investments held within the trust estate.
