SAN FRANCISCO (Standard&Poor's CreditWire) June 12, 2000--Standard&Poor's assigned its double-'A' rating to Colorado Housing and Finance Authority's (CHFA) $41.2 million single-family program bonds series 2000C and $12.78 million taxable single-family program senior bonds series 2000C. In addition, Standard&Poor's assigned its single-'A'-plus rating to the authority's $1.03 million single-family program subordinate bonds series 2000C. The outlook is stable. The rating is based upon: -- The very high quality of the mortgage collateral, consisting primarily of FHA-insured and VA-guaranteed mortgage loans; -- A conscientious and experienced state housing finance authority, which oversees the performance of the loan portfolio; -- Various stressful cash flow scenarios demonstrating the sufficiency of revenues and assets to cover all debt service
