...S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'A+' long-term rating to Charleston County Airport District, S.C.'s proposed $91 million series 2019 airport revenue bonds. At the same time, S&P Global Ratings affirmed its 'A+' long-term rating on the district's airport revenue bonds outstanding. The outlook is stable. We used our criteria, titled "U.S. And Canadian Not-For-Profit Transportation Infrastructure Enterprises," published March 12, 2018, on RatingsDirect, to evaluate the bonds. The rating reflects our opinion of the airport's very strong enterprise risk profile and strong financial risk profile. The enterprise risk profile assessment reflects the Charleston International Airport's (CHS) strong market position as a small-hub airport with strong enplanement growth tempered by modest competition of other regional airports.
