Abstract:

MADRID (S&P Global Ratings) Aug. 18, 2022--S&P Global Ratings today affirmed its 'AAA (sf)' credit rating on Cars Alliance Auto Loans Germany FCT's class A notes. We subsequently withdrew our rating at the issuer's request. We performed a full review of the transaction, focusing mainly on counterparty risk given the withdrawal of our ratings on the specially dedicated bank account provider, Landesbank Hessen-Thueringen Girozentrale (see "S-Finanzgruppe Hessen-Thueringen And Landesbank Hessen-Thueringen Girozentrale Ratings Withdrawn At Issuer's Request," published on July 1, 2022). Following the withdrawal of our ratings on Landesbank, within 60 calendar days the servicer must either (i) credit the commingling reserve account at the required level, or (ii) terminate the specially dedicated account holder and appoint a substitute.
