BOISE (S&P Global Ratings) Oct. 28, 2024—S&P Global Ratings today assigned its 'BBB' issue-level rating to Carrier Global Corp.'s proposed €750 million senior unsecured notes. Carrier intends to use the proceeds to refinance its €750 million senior unsecured notes due May 2025. As the transaction is largely debt for debt, we view the proposed issuance as credit neutral. Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.-based Carrier is a leading global provider of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and refrigeration products, solutions, and services for commercial and residential applications. The company designs, manufactures, sells, and services HVAC systems and transport refrigeration products, as well as provides related building services, including audit, design, installation, system integration, repair, maintenance, and monitoring.
