NEW YORK (S&P Global Ratings) Feb. 6, 2025--S&P Global Ratings today assigned its 'A' issue-level rating to the proposed senior unsecured notes issued by Cargill Inc. (final amounts and maturities to be determined). We expect the Minnesota-based agribusiness producer will use the net proceeds from these notes for general corporate purposes including reducing short-term borrowings. Our issuer credit rating on Cargill remains ?A? with a stable outlook.
