Abstract:

SAN FRANCISCO (S&P Global Ratings) Jan. 27, 2021--S&P Global Ratings has corrected the error we identified in the Water/Sewer Credit Scoring model that we first reported on Nov. 16, 2020, on RatingsDirect. The revised model has been approved for use in surveilling and assigning ratings consistent with our criteria. Following the discovery of this error and subsequent review of approximately 1,700 effected ratings to determine if any were incorrect due to the error, we placed a total of seven long-term ratings on CreditWatch: five on CreditWatch with positive implications and two on CreditWatch with negative implications.
