MILAN (S&P Global Ratings) June 11, 2020--S&P Global Ratings said today that its issuer credit and issue ratings on Unilever PLC and Unilever N.V. (both rated A+/Stable/A-1) and related debt and entities can absorb the group's announcement that it plans to unify its legal structure under Unilever PLC as a single parent company. Under the plan, Unilever N.V. will be merged into Unilever PLC. We understand that Unilever PLC will be the guarantor for all existing and future senior debt instruments and programs. The company has indicated that all debt that benefits from a guarantee from the current PLC and N.V. holding companies, or other group companies, will continue to benefit from an equivalent guarantee and that new debt will
