NEW YORK (S&P Global Ratings) May 1, 2017--S&P Global Ratings today said its 'B-' issue-level rating and '3' recovery rating on The New Home Co. Inc.'s (B-/Stable/--) senior unsecured notes are unaffected by the company's proposed $50 million add-on. The '3' recovery rating reflects our expectation of meaningful (50%-70%; rounded estimate: 50%) recovery to debtholders in the event of default. All of our other ratings on The New Home Co. are unchanged. The New Home Co. is a homebuilder based in Orange County, Calif. focused on the design and construction of luxury homes.
