FRANKFURT (Standard&Poor's) Aug. 3, 2015--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said today that its ratings and outlook on Finnish technology company Nokia Corp. (BB+/Positive/B) remain unchanged following the announcement that it has reached an agreement to sell its digital mapping and location services business, HERE, to a consortium of leading automotive companies. The sale is expected to close in the first quarter of 2016 and Nokia expects to receive net proceeds of slightly above €2.5 billion. In our view, the announced transaction further strengthens Nokia's already strong balance sheet. At the same time, the disposal would be slightly dilutive to Nokia's scope and diversification.
