NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) Jan. 29, 2015--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said today that McDonald's Corp.'s announcement of various management changes, which include the current CEO Don Thompson's retirement and replacement by Steve Easterbrook, currently Chief Brand Officer, does not materially change our assessment of management. We believe these changes emphasize the company's efforts to improve its restaurant traffic, sales, and the overall operating trajectory of the company that were outlined last year. We generally viewed the company as having good depth and breadth of management in its major lines of business, and the internal promotions support that view. Overall, these changes do not affect our business risk assessment and overall ratings on the company.
