HONG KONG (Standard&Poor's) Aug. 28, 2015--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said today that its rating on Haitong Securities Co. Ltd. (BBB/Stable/A-2; cnA/cnA-2) is unaffected by a recent investigation of the company by the China Securities Regulatory Commission. We currently do not expect the investigation to have a significant impact on the business and financial metrics of the rated broker. We understand that the regulator is investigating several brokers due to potentially inadequate due diligence performed on customers of their brokerage businesses.
