TORONTO (S&P Global Ratings) June 25, 2018--S&P Global Ratings today said that its ratings on Fannie Mae's and Freddie Mac's securities, with all associated outlooks, are unchanged despite the proposals the U.S. Administration released, for reforming the U.S. housing finance system, on June 21. On Thursday of last week, the U.S. Administration's Office of Management and Budget (OMB) released "Delivering Government Solutions in the 21st Century: Reform Plan and Reorganization Recommendations." This document summarizes the administration's proposals for modernizing, streamlining, and otherwise reforming the administrative structure of the government in a large number of disparate policy areas. Included among these is a two-and-a-half-page summary of the administration's proposed reforms to the U.S. housing finance system: "Reform Federal Role in Mortgage
