NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) June 29, 2009--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said today that the ratings on midstream energy companies Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (BBB-/Stable/--) and TEPPCO Partners L.P. (BBB-/Stable/--) will not immediately be affected after Enterprise Products and TEPPCO Partners entered into an agreement to merge the two partnerships, which will retain the name Enterprise Products Partners L.P. The pro forma Enterprise Products will have a slightly improved business risk profile, and its financial risk profile will be relatively unchanged. Based on comments made by the Enterprise Products' management team, we expect that by the time the merger is complete Enterprise Products and TEPPCO Partners will effect a structure in which the debt of both partnerships is pari-passu,
