MEXICO CITY (Standard&Poor's) Sept. 21, 2011--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said today that its ratings on Coca-Cola Femsa S.A.B. de C.V. (KOF; A-/Stable/--) are unaffected by the company's agreement to merge its beverage business with that of Corporación de los Angeles S.A. de C.V. (Grupo CIMSA; not rated). Grupo CIMSA is a Mexican family-owned Coca-Cola bottler with operations mainly in the states of Morelos and México. The value of the transaction is Mexican pesos (MXN) 11,000 million. Closing of the transaction is subject to the completion of due diligence and regulatory and corporate approvals.
