NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) Oct. 10, 2007—Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said today that its ratings on Chrysler LLC and DaimlerChrysler Financial Services Americas LLC (both rated B/Watch Pos/--) are not immediately affected by reports that the United Auto Workers (UAW), Chrysler's main labor union, went on strike today at the UAW-imposed 11:00 a.m. strike deadline. Chrysler's ratings were placed on CreditWatch on Sept. 26 after General Motors Corp. (B/Watch Pos/B-3) and the UAW reached a new tentative labor contract, a similar version of which we expected, and still expect, to be passed at Chrysler.
