NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) July 20, 2011--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said today its ratings on Boeing Co. are not affected by an agreement with American Airlines Inc. to acquire 200 narrowbody aircraft, with options for 100 more, with deliveries beginning in 2013. The deal includes 100 orders and 60 options for a new variant of Boeing's existing 737 family that will have new, more fuel-efficient engines provided by CFM International.
