SYDNEY (Standard&Poor's) Aug. 13, 2014--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said today that its A-/Stable/A-2 issuer credit ratings on Bank of Queensland Ltd. (BoQ) are unaffected by the resignation of the group's chief executive officer, Mr. Stuart Grimshaw, who has decided to leave the bank to pursue other opportunities. We are of the view that the broad strategy and focus of BoQ is now well entrenched at the bank and key elements are not expected to change following the appointment of a new chief executive officer. Importantly, we believe that the existing board and executive team are well equipped to effectively drive BoQ's business forward and support the transition to a new chief executive officer.
