NEW YORK (S&P Global Ratings) Jan. 27, 2021--S&P Global Ratings today said that based on the results of an independent review of Apollo Global Management Inc.'s (A-/Stable/--) founder, chairman, and CEO Leon Black's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, certain reputational risks that we had previously noted (see "Apollo's Reputation Risk Rises, But Does Not Currently Impact Ratings," Nov. 4, 2020) are partially mitigated. Apollo announced the conclusion and release of the independent review of Black's previous professional relationship with Epstein, completed by the conflicts committee of its board of directors.
