NEW YORK (S&P Global Ratings) Oct. 24, 2017--S&P Global Ratings said today that its 'BB+' issue-level rating and '1' recovery rating on American Airlines Inc.'s secured term loan due 2023 are unaffected by the company's proposed amendment to reduce the facility's pricing. The loan is secured by aircraft spare parts and the amount outstanding is currently $990 million.
