We are raising our ratings on Valcourt, Que.-based recreational products manufacturer Bombardier Recreational Products Inc. (BRP), including our long-term corporate credit rating on the company to 'BB-' from 'B+'. The upgrade reflects BRP's improved financial risk profile stemming from better operating performance and credit protection measures, as well as a reduction in the company's financial sponsor ownership in the past year. The stable outlook on BRP reflects our opinion that the company will sustain its improved operating performance and maintain credit measures in line with, or stronger than, our "significant" indicative financial ratios.
