Abstract:

LONDON (S&P Global Ratings) Oct. 11, 2024--S&P Global Ratings today said it corrected its rating on an issuance from Barclays Bank PLC (A+/Stable/A-1) to 'A+' from 'BBB+'. We should have assigned our 'A+' rating to the debt on Oct. 7, when this instrument was issued. Instead, we incorrectly marked this as an issuance by Barclays PLC and assigned our 'BBB+' rating, in line with that on senior unsecured issuance from that entity. The corrected rating is in line with that on senior unsecured issuance from Barclays Bank PLC.
