Operations mainly in China with exposure to rising economic risk. Weaker earnings than mega peers'. The stable outlook on Bank of Communications Co. Ltd. (BoCom) reflects our expectation that the bank can maintain its asset quality in line with mega peers' and its adequate financial performance over the next two years. We also expect the bank to continue to have a high likelihood of support from the Chinese government if it is in a distress scenario. We may downgrade BoCom if we lower both our assessment of the bank's stand-alone credit profile (SACP) and our sovereign credit rating
