NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's CreditWire) July 7, 2000--Standard&Poor's today removed the Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria S.A.-supported commercial paper program from CreditWatch, where it was placed on Feb. 2, 1999, and affirmed its 'A-1'-plus rating. This follows Standard&Poor's rating action on the short-term ratings of Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria S.A., which were also removed from CreditWatch and affirmed. The $75 million Girsa Funding Corp. commercial paper program was affected, Standard&Poor's said.--CreditWire
