Abstract:

Corporate credit rating: BB+/Positive/-- (foreign currency) Standard&Poor's today said that there will be no impact on the ratings of Grupo Bimbo S.A. de C.V. after the announcement that the company will submit a request to undertake a public share repurchase offer, an operation representing approximately US$560 million. Although this transaction will be partly debt-financed, the company's strong cash position and financial position enable Bimbo to complete the transaction without affecting its credit profile.
