We are affirming our ratings, including our 'A-' long-term corporate credit rating, on AltaLink L.P. The ratings reflect our opinion of the company's excellent business risk profile and significant financial risk profile. We are also affirming our ratings, including our 'BBB-' long-term corporate credit rating, on AltaLink's owner, AltaLink Investments L.P. (AILP). The ratings reflect our opinion of AILP's excellent business risk profile and aggressive financial risk profile. Ring-fencing measures allow for up to a three notch rating differential between the two entities. The stable outlook reflects our expectation of timely and significant equity injections from AILP's ultimate sponsors to maintain the capital structure of both entities.
