S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'A+' long-term rating to Akron , Ohio's expected $33.3 million series 2025 general obligation (GO) various purpose bonds. At the same time, we affirmed our 'A+' long-term rating and underlying rating on the city's previously issued limited-tax GO bonds and nontax revenue bonds, and on the Development Finance Authority of Summit County 's (the authority) development nontax lease revenue bonds. In addition, we affirmed our 'A' long-term rating on the annual appropriation lease revenue bonds and certificates of participation (COPs) issued for the City of Akron. The outlook is stable.
