Netherlands-based aerospace and defense company Airbus Group SE (Airbus) continues to demonstrate a credit-supportive financial policy, with no recent material share buybacks or acquisitions, while also raising funds from disposals. We are therefore raising to 'A+/A-1+' from 'A/A-1' our long- and short-term corporate credit ratings on the company. The stable outlook reflects our view that Airbus will maintain considerable financial flexibility at this rating level, despite facing ongoing costs and execution risks on key military and civil aircraft programs.
