LONDON (Standard&Poor's) Nov. 22, 2001--Standard&Poor's today removed its ratings on Irish airport operator Aer Rianta from CreditWatch with positive implications, where they were placed on June 29, 2001. The outlook was revised to positive. The CreditWatch resolution follows an assessment of the effect of the final regulatory airport charges determination on the group's financial profile. At the same time, Standard&Poor's affirmed Aer Rianta's long-term single-'A'-plus and short-term 'A-1' corporate credit ratings. In addition, Standard&Poor's long-term single-'A'-plus senior unsecured debt rating on related entity Aer Rianta Finance PLC's €250 million ($227 million) 6.15% bond issue (guaranteed by Aer Rianta) was also affirmed and removed from CreditWatch with positive implications.
