| Brief Excerpt: | ...In this edition of the Fitch 50 Europe we present a compendium of selected issuers that represent the broad range of components making up the Bank of America Merrill Lynch European High-Yield Index. This runs the gamut of fallen angel, mid-market, EMEA emerging- market, leveraged buyout (LBO) refinancing and peripheral corporate sectors. The summary analysis of each issuer highlights standalone fundamental credit profiles, corporate structures and recovery and instrument ratings. We also provide guidance on rating drivers. To provide further context for the positioning of the issuers in comparison with each other as well as within their rating levels, we include sector and peer-group comparisons on metrics such as enterprise value. The analysis is expanded by statistics on our portfolio of about 400 credit opinions of leveraged loan issuers.
