In the generation segment, companies have been affected by lower demand and reduced prices for the energy currently uncontracted. For the distribution companies (DisCos), reduced demand, higher delinquency and loss rates, and over contracted energy supply agreements should continue to pressure cash flow from operations (CFFO). On the positive side, DisCos and energy generators (GenCos) are facing smaller hydrological risks. No Risk of Energy Rationing Macroeconomic downturn and above average rainfall during 1Q16 allowed a partial recovery of hydroelectric plant reservoir levels.
