| The Group's principal activity is to operate chain stores for general food and daily-use sundry goods. These chain stores are located in Gifu Prefecture. The Group also operates restaurants, fitness clubs, pet shops and home centers. The operations are carried through the following divisions: Distribution; Sports club and Other.The Distribution segment is involved in the operation of supermarkets, home centers and drug stores, the sales of apparels and cooking ingredients, the leasing of real estate, the processing of food, the purchase of products, the cultivation and sale of mushrooms, as well as the home delivery services for dinner materials. This segment also offers logistics, warehousing, resource procurement, store facility maintenance services. The Sports Club segment is engaged in the operation of sport clubs. The Others segment is involved in the hot spring, lodging and the insurance agency businesses, as well as the operation of sightseeing facilities. |
