The Scorelogix Health Care and Social Assistance Job Security Index increased by 4.8% (MOM) or 3.4 points in January 2013 compared to December 2012 and increased by 13.1% (YOY) or 8.7 points in January 2013 when compared to January 2012. Health Care and Social Assistance continued to be a strong sector for job growth. Most of those jobs were in ambulatory health care services, a category that includes doctors? offices and outpatient care centers. Scorelogix predicts that this sector will continue to post growth in the coming months.
