Standard&Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'A+' long-term rating to Fayette County School District Finance Corp., Ky.'s series 2015A and 2015B school building refunding revenue bonds, issued for Fayette County Board of Education. At the same time, Standard&Poor's affirmed its 'A+' long-term rating and underlying rating (SPUR) on the corporation's previously issued appropriation debt, also issued for Fayette County Board of Education. The outlook is stable. The rating reflects our assessment of the district's: Participation in a deep and diverse economy anchored by the University of Kentucky; Good level of available reserves and plans to boost levels in the near future; Growing enrollment, which we expect to continue; and Moderate to low overall debt.
