Wrapup Q1 2007 - A letter from the CEO

To all our valued clients:

Alacra achieved many of its goals in the first quarter of 2007, but more importantly we set the stage for some amazing product releases we’re planning for the second quarter. These enhancements will be showcased at the SLA Conference in June. We look forward to seeing many of you in Denver, and visiting many of you in person to discuss our expanding product-line.

Q1 2007 Highlights

  • Alacra Concordance now includes entity identifiers from Moody’s KMV (PID codes) and Markit Partners CDS Red Codes).
  • The Alacra Book user interface has been streamlined making the PIB-building workflow even more efficient.
  • 10K Wizard, Key Note market research and Perfect Filings from Perfect Information have all been added to Alacra Premium.
  • A number of databases and some new functionality has been incorporated into Alacra Compliance, our new account vetting tool used for Customer Identification (CIP), Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD).

Here’s what’s on tap for Q2:

  • We plan to release Alacra-On-Demand, which will allow users to access Alacra’s licensed premium content from their Blackberry. A user can request news and other information on a company from their Blackberry and receive results moments later.
  • More enhancements to Alacra Book, including a much improved Table of Contents editor.
  • Adding keyword in context (KWIC) to a number of market research, credit research and equity research databases.

Just as there’s a lot happening in financial markets – M&A activity; hedge fund growth; private equity firms going public – we have a similar level of excitement here at Alacra. We continue to work hard to meet your information and workflow requirements. Remember to fill out this year's Alacra Survey. If you have not yet received this, please contact customer service, and do not hesitate to let me know if there is any way we can serve you better.

Regards,

Steven Goldstein
