| Abstract: | Standard&Poor's Ratings Services revised its rating to 'A+' from 'A' on Wisconsin Health and Educational Facilities Authority's series 2006A, 2006B, and 2006C auction-rate securities (ARS) issued for Meriter Hospital (Meriter), whose parent organization is Meriter Health Services (MHS). Additionally, in the next few weeks, Meriter expects to refinance the series 2006A, 2006B, and 2006C ARS with series 2008 variable-rate demand bonds that will be supported by a letter of credit from U.S. Bank. Standard&Poor's expects the short-term rating to be based on U.S. Bank and the long-term rating based jointly on the ratings of U.S. Bank and Meriter.
