| Abstract: | NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) May 6, 2008--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services today assigned its preliminary ratings to CIT Equipment Collateral 2008-VT1's $617.599 million asset-backed notes series 2008-1 (see list). The preliminary ratings are based on information as of May 6, 2008. Subsequent information may result in the assignment of final ratings that differ from the preliminary ratings. The preliminary ratings reflect: -- The credit enhancement, which is adequate to withstand the stress assumptions used in the cash flow analysis, that will result in the timely payment of interest and ultimate payment of principal by the legal final maturity date; -- The transaction structure, inclusive of the reserve target and the cumulative net loss trigger, which is designed to change |
